Starting in the UK, we explore what models are used & how we have ended up in the situation were are in, too many rules & not enough guardians maybe? Then we take a quick virtual trip to two different countries to see how conservation works there, what it means to the people within it & see how that has evolved since their colonial past.

Regular listeners of Into The Wild will know that as part of our big project, Beyond The Trigger, we have explored community conservation in Namibia quite a bit & very recently I had the pleasure of being introduced to a wonderful person called Bupe who is studying here in England. Bupe was telling me all about the wonderful community work she is involved with her country of Zambia & very quickly I thought, I want more people to hear this.
As well as representing the Zambian youth for Zambia's CBNRM (Community Based Natural Resource Management), Bupe also is involved with the Community Leaders Network across southern Africa & briefly explains what this organisation is & what it stands for.
